Sun City Texas by Del Webb- 55+ Retirement Community

We are extremely pleased with our entire new build process from sales w/ Marjan, options w/Rachel, construction managers Glenn and Adrian, the title company and home warranty w/ Wes! All employees have been congenial, professional, informative, patient with all of our questions, thorough and all genuinely desiring our complete satisfaction! We love our new home, friendly neighbors, and all the amenities we’ve experienced so far and are looking forward to joining groups with common interests! Thank you to all who have made our move to Sun City a pleasurable experience!

My Del Webb home in Sun City, Georgetown, TX, built by Pulte, is an excellent building. I am particularly grateful to Patrick Estrada, who truly believes it is the service after the sale that counts!!

I was recently visiting a sister who is a Sun City Georgetown resident and stopped in 2-days-in-a-row at the Pulte Homes Sales Center located in the Northpoint Amenity Center. I met and spoke with LISA MEDINA one of the days and YOLANDA LAMBRECHT on the other day! They both exhibited outstanding welcoming demeanors and very engaging stellar communications expertise! Having worked all my career in public relations/marketing in the real estate arena, I was very impressed! If one's initial encounter when arriving at a company, venue, office, etc. isn't positive it becomes irrevalent how excellent the building/office, amenities, sales team are if that initial encounter, whether over a phone call, or in person is less than the above described profiles of these two awesome Pulte Homes representatives!

Our Del Webb Sales Consultant, Janet, was extremely helpful and very professional. In our opinion, Janet is a terrific person and a great asset for Del Webb! Our Design Consultant, Rachel, was awesome and so talented! Communication with our Construction Manager was fair at best in our view. In our opinion, Pulte Homes dropped the ball on several things during construction. Our Purchase Agreement with Pulte Homes included installation of a Home Standby Generator. The installation of our generator was unfortunately not completed until many days after our closing. We believe that this was due to poor communication between Pulte, its subcontractors and the City of Georgetown and due to the necessary paperwork not being handled in a proper and timely manner. Our foundation was chiseled after it was poured for the installation of two electrical outlets. These electrical outlets were included in our original paperwork. We also contracted with Pulte Homes for the installation of window blinds. After moving into our new home, we experienced several issues with our window blinds including not being able to open or close them easily, several of the blinds were warped and most of the valances were apparently damaged, defective or improperly installed causing them to fall to the floor. Our Pulte Customer Service Representative, Wesley, has been kind and very responsive! Finally, before we signed our Purchase Agreement we were told by Del Webb that a new Amenity Center was going to be built within walking distance of our new home. In February 2025 we were advised by Del Webb that construction on the new Amenity Center was scheduled to start in April 2025 and that the target date for completion was some time in Q2 or Q3 2026. As of this writing, construction on the new Amenity Center has not commenced and we have not been able to obtain a target date range for the commencement of construction from Del Webb. Overall, our construction experience was good in part and not so good in part. We are happy to be living in Sun City Texas!

We moved here a year ago from Hawaii. We are retired nurses and covid survivors. We have looked at other places but as soon as we entered this community we know right away its the right place for us to continue to heal . Lots of nature and very peaceful and the amenities have kept us to be active . There’s great support from the builder and the neighbors are kind and friendly . We cannot asked for more and feel so blessed to have found this place .
