I can’t thank Preferred Care at Home staff enough for the wonderful care of my mother. It was such a comfort to know she was in good hands.

We needed care for my elderly father, who lived with us, only when we went out of town. Preferred care was wonderful about working with our erratic schedule. They made sure Dad had a good supper and that he took his meds, and they also kept things tidy. If we had a problem, all we had to do was call and they would get right on it. Highly recommend.

Argie and the nurses are wonderful. They have been a huge help with my uncle and his care. The nurse took exceptional care and he is happier when I visit him.

I'm so happy for all those that got wonderful service. Our experience wasn't that great at all. Where to begin. The caregiver they sent wasn't all there and had no experience at all with what mom needed. I was told at the start when the nurse came that the reason she comes is to ensure its a good match. I was very clear with the level of care mom needed and what it took. The caregiver did what she wanted to do. I asked her to do a bath. I come back in 45 mins and she hadn't fed my mom or anything, she was still trying to put the brief on...45 min. I'm like why didn't you come get me and why didn't you give her a bath? The caregiver says, I figured you could have hospice do it. 45 mins, no food or anything and I had to put the brief on. She left dirty wipes on moms table, left 2 packs of wipes open that dried out. The caregiver nails were super long and scratched my mom up. When I notified the company, the response was, she just got back from vacation. Not sorry, is she okay, nothing. Are agreement was 7 days a week. On Friday, I was like I'll see you tomorrow. She said, nope, I don't do weekends. I had to cancel my plans. I told them I didn't want her back. The caregiver comes twice without my permission. You used the code when we weren't home to let herself in! Anyway, we go without care of course. I give them another chance, some other girl shows up, and says to a friend of mine, are you the girl I'm training, I sent her right home. She didn't even see or touch mom? like what?? None of this was told to me at all. That two girls were coming, they were training or anything. I give them a 3rd chance saying mom will be home Monday, we can pick up then, she goes let me know. I'm confused because I literally said Monday. I just let you know. Here's the kicker, are agreement was 1 hour visits. They knew the caregiver knew. When it got close to an hour I reminded the caregiver. She would sit there and argue with me about leaving. Then she tells me, she clocks out at an hour and just stays, she does it all the time. I few times, I couldn't get this girl to leave. She's like I don't want to leave without finishing and I'm like your time is up and you've completed your hour. She even tired to get back up by asking another person in my home am I always like this? I told her there's one queen of this home and that's me! It was horrible. The bill I got was insane. I tried talking to them and nothing. To add, I made them aware, before they started that we have cameras that record, movement, audio and visual and yet, I'm dealing with craziness. And if they respond that any of this is a lie, I will post the text messages!
